TALES first training event in Naples

The TALES 1st Induction School took place in Naples from Feb 16th and 20th 2026. The school covered observational and theoretical aspects of the temporal properties of AGN as well as topics related to data science and machine learning. The astronomy lectures included fundamentals of timing analysis and statistics, introduction to accretion flow modeling, variability and transient science as a probe of the feeding and feedback cycle of supermassive black holes, machine learning applications to astronomy.
