The second TALES training will be organized at the Petnica Science Center, Serbia. The event will combine a Smart Data Technologies and a Core Professional Skills workshop. The former is designed in a form of a Hackathon by external experts, Paula Sanchez-Saez (ESO), Paolo Bonfini (University of Crete | IA-FORTH), offering real-world training in machine learning applications to astrophysics. This 3-day intensive data challenge/hackathon aims for the TALES’s doctoral candidates (DCs) to develop advanced computational tools for analyzing AGN light curves and time-series in general. The latter will focus on Oral & Written Communication Skills and will be delivered by Skills4Science.
The schedule and accompanying material will be available at the dedicated Indico event page.
